New York City- Pizza, Central Park and Times Square

New York City is one of the most magical places the United States has to offer. Where else can you watch a Broadway play and get a slice of pizza at 2 a.m.? Every person has a place in New York, as a tourist or a local. Here are some must-do’s while in the Big Apple.

Food

Now what would a visit to New York be without a slice or two of pizza? Don’t let the long wait deter you from waiting for one of the best slices of pizza you’ll ever have. Di Fara Pizza in Midwood is known for their tasty creations, stick around to watch the owner, Dom DeMarco, in action. A local favorite, the cronut; which you guessed it, a croissant meets donut, is worth the indulgence. And what is a trip to New York without Italian cuisine? Stop by Lasagna al Bolognese in the Bronx for an authentic Italian experience. The meat-smothered lasagna is a fan favorite.

Sight-Seeing

You’ll never run out of things to do in New York City. Start the day with a ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty. This historical landmark is a reminder of how far this beautiful country has come. You don’t have to be a history buff to enjoy a tour of the statue and Ellis Island, where many of our ancestors entered America through. Enjoy a stroll through Central Park, which covers almost 840 acres in the heart of NYC. Spend the day at Coney Island, riding old-school theme park rides and downing one or two coney dogs. End your evening in the magical Times Square, which houses over 100 shops and attractions.
