San Francisco is well known as one of the most diverse cities in America. There are so many different experiences to be had in this gorgeous city. Many families enjoy boat rides around the Golden Gate Bridge, catching a baseball game at Oracle Park or dining and exploring Chinatown. The City by the Bay offers plenty of options to make sure everyone in your family has a fantastic vacation.
Oracle Park
Previously known as AT&T Park, this San Francisco staple is a top priority for many families. Named one of the best baseball stadiums in America, the view alone is said to be worth the tickets, but even if you’re not a fan of baseball, Oracle Park is known to have some of the most delicious ballpark food. Their world-famous garlic fries are to die for. Make sure to bundle up for night games as the temperature drops drastically once the sun goes down, no matter what season it is.
Pier 39
If you’re not into the obvious “tourist-y” thing to do, Pier 39 has a secret, secluded view of sea lions. There is no where else in San Francisco you can get this up-close and personal with these amazing sea creatures. Pier 39 also has some of the best restaurants that San Francisco has to offer. Enjoy a sourdough bread bowl filled with clam chowder while overlooking the enchanting San Francisco Bay.
Bike Ride Across the Golden Gate Bridge
Even though the Golden Gate Bridge is the most photographed bridge in the world, it’s hard to grasp how massive it truly is until you’re on it. This 3.4 mile round trip bike ride isn’t just for good exercise, it’s also a great way to get that perfect insta-worthy shot. The Golden Gate Bridge also provides one of the most breathtaking views of the San Francisco valley.
