The Music City offers so much family-friendly fun! If you are headed to Nashville, make sure to check out some of these fun things to see and do.
Line Dancing at the Wildhorse Saloon
What kind of trip would it be without some line dancing? The Wildhorse Saloon is home to one of the biggest dancefloors. Dance the night with the ones that mean the most. Make sure to enjoy some delicious BBQ while you’re there. Nashville is the home to country music after all…
Fannie Mae Dees Park
Parks are so fun for families to visit while in a new place. It is a time for parents to relax while kids get to run around and play. Fannie Mae Dees Park is unlike any other park. Nashville locals call it the “Dragon Park” because of large, mosaic tile-covered dragon popping out of the ground. There’s play equipment, a splash pad and plenty of picnic tables for lunch outside.
Honky Tonk Highway
Put on your best pair of cowboy boots and strut down Honky Tonk Highway. There is plenty of gastropubs, shops and music venues for the whole family to enjoy. Country music’s biggest stars own some of the most popular bars and restaurants along Honky Tonk Highway. There is free live music to enjoy while you and your family enjoy the sights.
The Parthenon
Can’t afford a trip to Greece? No problem! Built in 1897 by Confederate vetran William Crawford, the Parthenon is a full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. Inside is a museum about the history of Athens. This 5 acre masterpiece is something you don’t want to miss.
